Beautour
This Norman Chateau located in the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia, already exuded the strong architectural elements present in so many historic homes. Original crown and window moldings, chair rail, and unique radiator covers showing a wheat sheaf pattern, which is a sign of abundance, feasting, and welcome, were highlighted with a complementary color scheme that coordinated with a cream and yellow Federal print wallpaper placed within picture frame moldings. The serene color palette, served as the perfect backdrop to the Federal style dining table and chairs, black and gold gilt mirror and John Singer Sargent portrait, that is placed above the antique inlaid sideboard. An antique Aubusson carpet completes this elegant and refined space.
