WestleighWestleigh

Westleigh, a three story Georgian, was built in 1860 for Charles Wilson Taylor, and became the home of the Honorary Richard Vaux, former mayor of Philadelphia. Over the years, the home had received numerous superficial updates, but in 1994, after being purchased by a member of the duPont family, it was decided to completely restore and renovate the structure to include such new amenities, as a state of the art wine cellar, gym, steam and dry saunas, and a reconfiguration of the original servant's quarters to a guest suite and offices.
